GALVANIC CURRENT, OR GALVANISATION — for iontophoresis and disincrustation treatments. With iontophoresis, products are delivered under the skin: thanks to the galvanic current's ability to increase dermal permeability, the product reaches the deeper skin layers. Various active substances are introduced into the skin, and during ionisation they increase skin elasticity (elastin and collagen production), hydration and renewal. The high-frequency current activates nerve endings, providing a toning effect, strengthens blood vessels and improves circulation. For iontophoresis a fabric mask is used, moistened with a cosmetic product that must be an electrolyte (positively and negatively charged). Disincrustation — deep skin cleansing: it clears the skin of excess sebum and other impurities that clog pores.

MICROCURRENT THERAPY — the treatment uses a current of low frequency and low intensity. It does not cause muscle contraction but stimulates nerve impulses to restore tissue physiology. Microcurrents stimulate skin microcirculation, increasing tissue nutrition and oxygenation and promoting regeneration. They also stimulate fibroblasts, increasing the quantity and quality of synthesised collagen, and support the lymphatic system and its functions. The treatment is divided into 4 phases, each using the appropriate type of current. PHASE 1: stimulates blood circulation at the epidermal and dermal level and activates lymph flow. PHASE 2: drainage and relaxation — improves skin trophism, promotes detoxification through lymphatic drainage and triggers skin regeneration. PHASES 3 and 4: lifting action — the currents work on the muscles.

STIMULATION — an electro-stimulating action on the muscles to tone weakened facial muscles and achieve a good lifting effect. The method is recommended as prevention for younger clients, while for clients with atonic skin it is an indispensable treatment.
