With iontophoresis, products are delivered under the skin: thanks to the galvanic current's ability to increase dermal permeability, the product reaches the deeper skin layers. Various active substances are introduced into the skin, and during ionisation they increase skin elasticity (elastin and collagen production), hydration and renewal. The high-frequency current activates nerve endings, providing a toning effect, strengthens blood vessels and improves circulation. For iontophoresis a fabric mask is used, moistened with a cosmetic product that must be an electrolyte (positively and negatively charged). Disincrustation — deep skin cleansing: it clears the skin of excess sebum and other impurities that clog pores.
